Behind the Design
We wanted to create a camera strap with the modern girl-boss in mind. A majority of Fotostrap users fall into this category (whether they are mompreneurs, photographers, influencers, or all of the above) and we were inspired to serve our community of women with an updated option for their camera that is as effortlessly beautiful as they are.
Leather
As we hit the drawing boards, we knew we wanted to find a softer, more feminine leather that gives you that same feeling of luxury and confidence you get when you put on a designer handbag.
We fell in love with this gorgeous pebbled leather and the cherry on top was that we are able to source it from an American tannery!
Simplified Design
Next, we wanted to simplify the design, find the ideal width and fixed length for the strap, and revolutionize how it connects to your camera to make it easier for the woman on-the-go!
Our brass swivel hooks (and included custom brass split rings) make connecting your Designer strap to your camera a breeze... believe us, it's a game-changer.
Introducing the Anthem Personalization
And finally, we wanted to finish the look with an understated monogram and a truly meaningful new personalization option (that is both literally and figuratively) close to our heart: the hidden anthem message.
Now you can "wear your why" (such as a word/phrase of the year, favorite Scripture, special date, or personal anthem, etc.) close to your heart as you shoot, to inspire your work and serve as an empowering reminder when you wear it.
What inspired us?
