Design File Best Practices for the Designer Fotostrap

One of our new features of the Designer Fotostrap is the understated personalization near the end of the strap. Due to the smaller area and texture of the pebbled leather, our qualifications for the kinds of design files that will work on this space are a little more stringent than the requirements for our original Fotostrap and Skinny shoulder pads. To help you decide if your design file will work, we've created this simple checklist and some examples for you to compare your file with!

1. Is your design file wider than it is tall?

If it is more of a 1:1 ratio, it may not work depending on the complexity of the design or line thickness of your logo. If your logo comes in more than one variation, choose the most horizontal layout; horizontal logos are ideal for this space!

2. Does your design file have thick enough lines?

If the text or design elements contain especially thin lines, they will not appear on the textured leather. If you are creating your own file, choose a font with a medium or bold weight!

If there are just certain parts of your logo that will not work, we suggest you remove "extra" elements of your design file to create a simpler graphic that complements your logo, but fits within our parameters so it looks best on your Designer Fotostrap!
