A proud South Carolina native and senior portrait photographer, Leslie Kerrigan loves what she does. How do we know? We are hard pressed to find any photo of her, candid or otherwise, without her smiling ear to ear.
Along with her infectious smile, we admire Leslie for her dedication to the art of senior portrait photography. Her incredible hunger for the latest knowledge on the subject has fueled her business, Leslie Kerrigan Photography, as well as inspired her to create Seniorologie, a blog where she to shares her expertise on photography. Leslie strives to give back to the photography community with postings concerning continuing education tips, answers to popular industry questions and tips for your business. A few of our favorites are:
- HOW TO GET YOUR WORK FEATURED - Get tips on how to answer this age old dilemma by guest blogger, Brittni Schroeder.
- INSTAGRAM MARKETING WITHOUT BEING ANNOYING - Marketing to younger audiences may not always be easy, but Leslie once again proves that she’s got you covered with the basics on the hot technology!
- SPRING JACKETS - We all need styling help every now and again, high schoolers are no different. If you’re going into the senior portrait business, it's probably a good idea to be in the know on the latest fashions.
An advisory board member of Fotolanthropy, her spirit of giving back is also evident in her work. Recently, she worked with the Fotolanthropy team as the lead photographer Fotocrew member to create the inspiring Fotostory, "Dance In The Rain." She donated her time and resources to give Bayleigh a photo session and short film to chronicle her story and help inspire others. Take a moment to be inspired by this true story of a teen that has battled brain cancer for over 9 years.
Currently, you can find Leslie on the Seniorologie Instagram, occasionally showing off her Golden Fotostrap. Be sure to like her on Facebook to get the latest on her personal photography business and stay tuned to see her new and improved website, as well!
