The Artist Fotostrap in Collaboration With Brittany Kuykendall

As a continuation of our Artist Series, today we highlight Brittany Kuykendall's work on our new Artist Fotostrap.

Texas born-and-raised artist, Brittany Kuykendall, started her painting career in 2009 through commission-based acrylic paintings.  Based out of her hometown in Dallas, Texas, she interprets several types of subject matter onto canvas by integrating her knowledge of both the studio and graphic arts.

"BK" is a graduate of Baylor University with a fine arts degree in Graphic Design.  She discovered her passion for painting during an acrylic painting course her senior year. BK found joy and inspiration through many different styles and mediums, which she carries throughout her steadily-growing business today.  She designs for a small ad agency during the day, and enjoys working on both commission and personal work in her spare time.

In 2010, BK hosted her first solo art exhibition in downtown Dallas showcasing her first personal abstract series, “The Art of Architectural Design.”  With an architect father and an interior designer mother, she grew up inspired by clean lines, modern shapes and angular spaces.

By establishing her own modern twist on buildings and environmental spaces in her first show, BK moved on a year later to explore modern landscapes in her series titled, “A Peculiar Landscape.”  She then participated as a local vendor in the 2012 Art Uprising in West Village with other artisans from the Dallas area to bring forth her art to the public eye.

Today she continues to create commissioned memories on canvas, and encourages her clients to seek life and color in their home environments through the acrylic arts.

Fotostrap asked BK to participate in showcasing the new Artist Fotostrap, and we are thrilled to share how she made it her own.
